About the Role We are seeking a General Labor – Production team member to join our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As a General Labor – Production associate, you will be responsible for operating high‑speed production lines, monitoring product quality, and maintaining sanitary conditions in compliance with GMP and safety standards. Shift & Schedule Shift: 3rd Hours: 10:00PM – 6:30AM Weekend Availability: Required Compensation Hourly Rate: $18 Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing) Operate and monitor high‑speed continuous production lines. Set up, operate, and monitor line equipment in the filling room. Perform visual product inspections and regrades. Communicate with team members to ensure continuous process and quality standards. Maintain working stock of raw materials required on the line. Perform basic line cleaning and sanitation. Enter inventory data into the warehouse management system as required. Lift and handle materials manually as needed. Adhere to all health and safety requirements and maintain hygiene standards. Perform additional tasks as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table) High School Diploma or GED preferred. Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and make minor equipment adjustments preferred. Previous experience in the food industry preferred. Ability to work in a team‑based production environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success) Familiarity with GMPs and safety protocols. Ability to adapt to schedule changes under management discretion. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed in this specific job description.
