Human Resources Specialist (Recruiting & Employee Experience)

What You’ll Do Talent Acquisition & Recruiting Lead recruiting efforts for caregivers and office employees Manage our Hireology recruiting platform and applicant pipeline Source, interview, and evaluate candidates Coordinate interviews and New Hire Orientation Build community recruiting partnerships Improve recruiting strategies and hiring metrics Employee Experience Create an exceptional onboarding experience Facilitate orientation and help employees become "Ready for Scheduling" Support employee engagement and recognition initiatives Coach managers on employee relations and performance management Foster a positive, professional workplace culture Human Resources & Compliance Maintain employment records and HR documentation Support benefits administration and payroll audits Ensure compliance with employment laws, CHAP standards, COMAR regulations, and company policies Maintain personnel files, certifications, and required training records Assist with investigations, performance documentation, and policy administration HR Operations Develop dashboards and workforce metrics Analyze recruiting, retention, and turnover trends Improve HR systems and workflows Recommend process improvements that help our organization grow What We’re Looking For We’re seeking someone who is: Passionate about building great teams Highly organized and detail-oriented An excellent communicator and relationship builder Professional, confident, and trustworthy Comfortable coaching managers and employees Able to balance compassion with accountability Motivated to improve systems and solve problems proactively Qualifications Required Five or more years of Human Resources experience Experience recruiting hourly employees Experience with employee relations and performance management Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills Preferred Home Care, Home Health, Healthcare, or Senior Living experience SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar HR certification Experience with Hireology, WellSky, Infiniti HR, or similar platforms Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) What We Offer Competitive salary Paid vacation, holidays, and personal time Professional development opportunities Leadership mentoring A collaborative leadership team The opportunity to make a lasting impact on a growing organization A culture built on integrity, accountability, compassion, and continuous improvement The Difference You’ll Make The people you hire, develop, coach, and support will directly influence the quality of care our clients receive every day.
