Registered Nurse - NICU

$2545.92/week - Job Summary: Provides specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate treatment according to established standards. Oversees and coordinates care activities among healthcare team members while utilizing clinical judgment and critical thinking. Responsibilities: Assess neonatal patients' health status and identify care needs through comprehensive data collection. Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote optimal health outcomes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families to ensure continuous, coordinated care. Educate families on neonatal health, discharge instructions, and treatment procedures. Monitor patient progress, evaluate interventions, and modify care plans as needed. Delegate tasks appropriately and supervise junior nursing staff in the NICU setting. Qualifications: Current RN license in the state of practice. At least two years of recent experience in neonatal intensive care or similar acuity setting. Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor. Strong clinical skills in neonatal assessment and care. Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
