Description Patient Finacial Counselor for Providence Medical Group in Portland OR. Full-Time/Day Shift The Patient Financial Counselor is a subject matter expert in insurance eligibility, financial assistance programs, and revenue cycle operations. This role serves as a liaison between patients, clinic staff, providers, and leadership to ensure accurate insurance verification, resolve billing and eligibility issues, support regulatory compliance, and improve clinic financial performance and patient experience. Required qualification: 3 years Experience in a Business Office, preferably in a financial/billing position. Experience with medical and health plan terminology, CPT codes, ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
