Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students as an onsite school psychologist near Folsom, CA. This full-time opportunity involves providing vital psychological services for a single school campus, working with a diverse caseload of approximately 80 students spanning transitional kindergarten through 8th grade. As part of a dedicated team, you will play a key role during a maternity leave coverage from August 4th through October 1st, 2026.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Psychologist certification for California
• Valid Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential
• Previous experience providing psychological services in an educational setting is preferred
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, students, and families
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple student needs across grade levels

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver a full range of psychological services, including assessments, counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management support
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement student support strategies
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions as needed
• Maintain accurate records, write evaluation reports, and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
• Provide consultative support to school staff to help address learning, behavioral, and emotional challenges
