Senior Business Analyst

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst Consultant to lead discovery, process analysis, and requirements gathering activities supporting the planned replacement of its Astea Field Service Management platform. This mission-critical system supports approximately 400 field technicians and 240 back-office users across 30 U.S. jurisdictions and facilitates dispatching, call center operations, field service management, asset management, inventory management, reporting, mobile workforce management, and enterprise integrations. The consultant will partner with business and technical stakeholders to document current-state operations, identify business needs, assess system capabilities, and develop future-state requirements that will support solution evaluation and vendor selection activities. Responsibilities Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions. Document current-state business processes and workflows. Gather, analyze, and prioritize business and functional requirements. Identify operational challenges, process gaps, and improvement opportunities. Assess current Astea capabilities, configurations, and integrations. Document enterprise system integrations and business dependencies. Facilitate review and validation sessions with stakeholders. Develop business analysis deliverables, findings, and executive presentations. Support future-state process design and requirements documentation. Required Experience 7+ years of Business Analysis experience on enterprise-scale projects. Strong experience leading workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements gathering sessions. Expertise in process mapping, workflow analysis, and business requirements documentation. Experience evaluating complex business applications and integrations. Strong communication, facilitation, and documentation skills. Ability to work with both business and technical teams across multiple locations. Preferred Experience Field Service Management (FSM) platforms such as Astea, ServiceMax, Salesforce Field Service, Oracle Field Service, IFS, or similar solutions. Application replacement, modernization, or digital transformation initiatives. Dispatch, call center, mobile workforce, asset management, inventory, and warehouse operations. Vendor evaluation, procurement, and RFP support activities.
