Software Engineer II -Algorithms (Onsite)

Position Overview Algorithms Software Engineer II – Onsite role located in Plano, TX. Requires U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance (Top Secret may be obtainable). Must be in the area or willing to relocate. Key Responsibilities Work with scientists and experts to understand algorithm goals and limitations. Optimize software for performance, including parallel processing and leveraging GPUs and other accelerators. Transform algorithms from Python and MATLAB into optimized C/C++ and CUDA code. Model and test new algorithms in high‑performance computing environments. Architect, design, implement, test, and debug integrated real‑time software. Collaborate within a cross‑discipline team. Contribute to proposals and critical design reviews. Optional travel for customer collaboration and community interaction. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years relevant experience in real‑time software development (C/C++ or related). Experience developing, testing, and integrating real‑time applications on Linux systems. Active and transferable Secret U.S. government‑issued security clearance required prior to start. U.S. citizenship required. Preferred Qualifications Strong understanding of complex systems and existing codebases. Experience with Scrum and Agile process. Hands‑on experience with Git, GitLab/Jira for version control and issue management. Optimized CUDA programming for NVIDIA accelerators. Experience with MATLAB, Python, and other analysis tools. Active and transferable Top Secret clearance. Benefits Competitive salary (USD 68,900–131,100).
