Patent Prosecution Paralegal

Intellectual Property (IP) law firm located in North Dallas is seeking a general IP paralegal to support IP counsel with at least three years’ patent prosecution experience. Paralegals with proven longevity in other areas of practice will be considered. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with the filing and prosecution of U. S. patent applications, audit and manage portfolios to ensure patent applications comply with the patent prosecution process, assist with internal review and analyzation of documents, conduct research, monitor deadlines, draft responses to office actions, and provide general administrative support to attorneys.

• Proficient in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe)
• Strong technical skills required; formal technical training is a plus

REQUIREMENTS

• Three years extensive patent prosecution IP paralegal experience (preferred)
• Long-term paralegal experience within a law firm setting (required)
