Compensation Range:

$84,864.00 - $114,566.00

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

GENERAL SUMMARY: Ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care by overseeing the quality assurance and quality improvement processes within healthcare facility. Monitors, evaluates, and optimizes patient outcomes by implementing effective quality assurance and improvement initiatives. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to identify areas for enhancement, develop strategies for improvement, and measure the effectiveness of interventions. Drives a culture of excellence, safety, and patient-centered care through data analysis, performance metrics tracking, and continuous evaluation.

PT (24 hrs.) Days

Will provide service-line leadership for lactation education, quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and Baby-Friendly program development across the OB/GYN Service . The primary focus of this role is to lead and coordinate the OB/GYN Service’s efforts to achieve and maintain Baby-Friendly designation , translating Baby-Friendly standards into sustainable clinical practices, staff education, competencies, workflows, and quality improvement initiatives. Serving as a subject matter expert and strategic resource, the Coordinator will partner closely with OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Breastfeeding Medicine, Quality, and other interdisciplinary leaders to standardize lactation and infant-feeding practices across the continuum of care to ensure consistent, evidence-based care and ongoing alignment with Baby-Friendly principles and standards. Will develop and lead comprehensive lactation education and staff development programs, including EMPower training, simulation, new-hire education, and interdisciplinary learning experiences. The role will lead evidence-based policy and practice development, quality monitoring, required reporting, and maintenance of the Breastfeeding Medicine dashboard; identify opportunities for improvement through data and competency assessment; and lead or support initiatives that advance maternal and newborn feeding outcomes. BSN required, Master’s degree preferred required within 5 years.
