Computer Support Specialist V Location: Transformation and Training Command (T2COM) Austin, Texas Status: Full-Time / Temporary FLSA Category: Exempt Tribalco is actively seeking an experienced and highly motivated Computer Support Specialist V to join our team in Austin, TX supporting the U.S. Army’s Transformation and Training Command (T2COM). In this position, the successful candidate will provide Service Desk functions as described below. Key Responsibilities Configure authorized end user and network devices, to include computers, printers, laptops, scanners, and other hardware. Configure bulk authorized end user and network devices, to include computers, printers, laptops, scanners, and other hardware Provide local touch labor services, to include installation, troubleshooting, and software updates; security updates; vendor patches (service packs, service releases), etc., when electronic application means do not exist Provide local touch labor services, to include installation, troubleshooting, and repair Other duties as assigned Desired Skills Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines Capable of conveying complex information in a simplistic manner Strong critical thinking and problem- solving skills Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision Able to take proactive measures to prevent problems rather than reactive by nature Strong verbal and written communication to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals Must be a U.S. Citizen Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline (preferred) 5+ years of experience as a computer technician providing desktop support. Must possess and maintain an IT I level certification IAW AR 25-2 and an IAT II certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M and BBP 05-PR-M-0002 Security + or higher Clearance This position requires an active SECRET clearance Compensation Compensation is competitive and is commensurate with experience.
