Acute Care Physical Therapist

Title: Acute Care Physical Therapist

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year clinical experience
• Compact state license required at time of submission
• Required certification: BLS
• Experience in orthopedics and post-operative joint/spine care
• Experience in neurology and neuro-rehabilitation
• Familiarity with gait training and transfers
• Proficient in assessment, evaluation, and discharge planning
• Experience with charting system Epic

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in acute care settings
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families about rehabilitation processes and home exercise programs
• Support patients in regaining mobility and function through therapeutic interventions

Compliance / Notes:

• Candidates must commit to working 3 of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• Orientation hours: 8 hours
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• Free parking available for staff
