Assistant Community Manager Compensation Hourly: $2,600 - $2,800 Benefits Medical Dental Vision Vacation and Sick time 401(k) Schedule Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Responsibilities Train employees on various subject matters Provide staff with direction, guidance, and tools for effective performance Offer clear, concise instructions for on-site staff management Act as an innovative and creative source to consider solutions to problems Develop an integral team that sells the company’s quality and professionalism Determine customers’ needs while maintaining a pleasant, cheerful, and tactful demeanor Perform duties related to payroll, financial reporting, and monitoring Negotiate to maximize benefits for the organization Ensure invoice payments are processed on time Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports accurately and on time Report or recommend community capital improvements or repairs, including job specifications, bid acquisitions, contract development, and negotiations Perform duties related to leasing, marketing, and community functions Support overall marketing efforts and provide input on promotions and advertisements Analyze and monitor community market conditions to anticipate changes or trends affecting profitability Supervise planning, implementation, and attendance of community recreational and social activities Inspect common areas, models, and vacant units regularly, and complete inspection reports Review resident applications Understand and comply with state landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing laws and standards Monitor maintenance activities to ensure resident requests and preventative maintenance programs meet company standards Recommend and oversee editing of the community newsletter Build active engagement in the local business community and develop rapport with residents Transport residents and prospective residents via motorized vehicle throughout the community and run errands as necessary Assist in planning social events for residents Qualifications Minimum education: High School (required) Minimum experience: 2 years of on-site management (required) Minimum field of expertise: Residential or commercial management, including supervisory responsibility (required) Preferred education: Bachelor's degree Preferred field of expertise: Sales, multi-family leasing experience Valid driver's license and clean driving record Proficiency in Yardi accounting software (plus) CAHP certification (plus) #J-18808-Ljbffr
