Sterile Processing Technician
This is a 13-week contract position.
11:00 AM - 11:30 PM, Monday - Wednesday
The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the cleaning, sterilization, and preparation of medical instruments and equipment. This role is essential for ensuring a safe and sterile environment for patient care. Technicians are expected to follow protocols and guidelines for infection control and maintain the functionality and cleanliness of all equipment.
Clean, sterilize, and prepare surgical instruments and equipment.
Ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient safety.
Participate in ongoing training and competency assessments.
Completion of a Sterile Processing Technician training program.
Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CSPDT, CRCST, or equivalent) preferred.
Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control practices.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
