Preventative Maintenance Technician

Join the Team at From The Ground Up From The Ground Up is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Equipment Maintenance Technician to help keep our landscaping, lawn care, and snow removal equipment clean, maintained, and ready for work.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with equipment, takes pride in keeping things organized, and wants to be part of a growing team. Mechanical experience is helpful, but we're willing to train the right candidate. What You'll Do Perform routine maintenance on landscaping and snow equipment Sharpen and maintain mower blades Clean equipment, vehicles, trailers, and attachments Check fluid levels, tire pressure, batteries, belts, and filters Inspect equipment and report maintenance or repair needs Track maintenance activities and equipment condition Help prepare equipment for seasonal operations Keep the shop, parts inventory, and work areas organized What We're Looking For Interest in equipment and machinery Strong attention to detail Dependable and self-motivated Ability to work independently Positive attitude and willingness to learn Mechanical experience preferred, but not required Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling Ability to work indoors and outdoors Ability to safely use basic hand tools and equipment Why Join Us?
