CDL Class A Driver

About the Job Maine Recycling Corporation (MRC) is seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver with a valid Class A (CDL) driver's license and a clean driving record to join our team. As a Class A Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely route delivery and pickup of recyclable aluminum cans, glass, and plastic bottles within a 150-mile radius of our newly established Bangor processing facility. Work week is Monday through Friday, no weekends or overnights required. Driver Responsibilities:
- Accurate accounting for materials recovered.
- Proper loading of trailers.
- Conduct daily inspections of vehicles and report any issues.
- Constructive evaluation of stops, routing, and general practices.
- Comply with all DOT regulations and MRC safety policies and procedures
- Effective communication with in-house staff and customers.
- Operate iPad for DVIR and Invoicing.
- Communicate thoroughly with management while on the road.
- Practical experience in forklift operation is a plus.
- Flexible and adapts well to change.
- Possesses a positive attitude.
- Is a team player.
- Class A driver's license in good standing.
- Enjoys working outside during Maine's four seasons.
- Represents Maine Recycling well to the general public.
