Principal Data Engineer

Leading the evolution of the enterprise data platform strategy, the full-time Principal Data Engineer will be responsible for defining data standards, driving Snowflake platform maturity, and migrating legacy data assets in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Define and implement data governance frameworks and architectural standards Lead the migration and modernization of legacy data systems into a scalable enterprise data ecosystem Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish best practices for data integration and management Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent experience 8 years of related experience, preferably in software development with increasing responsibilities Extensive experience with object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python Proficiency in SQL integration development with both SQL and NoSQL databases Experience with Agile methodologies and tools, including Azure DevOps and Jira
