Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a full-time School Social Worker serving K-12 learners near Charlotte, MI. Bring your expertise and passion for student support to a collaborative educational environment with a contract position available now through June 2027.

Responsibilities include providing social-emotional guidance, supporting students and their families, and advocating for individual needs. As part of your core duties, you will assist with evaluations, participate in IEP meetings, and serve on the crisis response team as needed. Key Qualifications:

• Active Michigan School Social Worker Certification
• Valid Michigan Social Worker license (LLMSW, LMSW, or LCSW)
• Experience in K-12 school settings preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with educators, students, and families
• Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Assist in conducting student evaluations and assessments
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
• Serve on the crisis response team as required
• Develop and implement intervention plans; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate case records and reports

Eligible candidates will be considered for a competitive hourly rate between $43 and $50, along with comprehensive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Details regarding the healthcare benefits plan will be provided after application.
