Registered Nurse In Intensive Care

Job Type: Travel Profession: RN Specialty: Intensive Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (flexible on TNCC certification; must be through AHA) Must-Have: Required to float to other inpatient nursing units Description: This is a 198-bed, Level III trauma center. It includes state-of-the-art operating suites. The facility provides healthcare services across multiple specialties. Services offered include medical, surgical, and rehabilitation care. Additional services include a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, inpatient behavioral health unit, day surgery center, and extensive imaging and lab testing services. Recognized for excellence, this facility has received several awards, including the Top 20 Most Beautiful Hospitals in the U.S. Located in a valley featuring scenic rivers, golf courses, lakes, and national parks. This environment enables travelers to experience a unique and adventurous getaway within an affordable and friendly community. The ICU consists of 14 beds with patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2. The electronic health record system in use is Cerner. The patient population in this unit includes adults. The ICU manager supervises nursing staff and ensures high-quality care is provided. Candidates must possess the required skills and experience to succeed in this role.
