Director of Nursing RN

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the nursing team to provide high-quality patient care, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards

• Develop and implement effective nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to improve patient outcomes and reduce readmissions

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of patient care and services

• Participate in budget planning and management, ensuring effective use of resources to achieve departmental goals

• Foster a positive and supportive work environment, promoting staff engagement and development

• Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, and facilitate ongoing education and training

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Nursing or related field

• At least 3 years of experience in a director or leadership role in a skilled nursing facility

• Current RN licensure in the state of New Jersey

• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in staff development and patient care coordination

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
