Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development and implementation of nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care

• Provide guidance and support to the nursing staff, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and training to deliver high-quality care

• Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident care and identify areas for improvement

• Collaborate with other departments, such as therapy and social work, to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and other stakeholders to foster a positive and supportive environment

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and monitoring, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards

• Develop and manage budgets and resources to ensure effective use of financial and human resources

• Mentor and coach nursing staff to promote growth and development

Requirements:

• RN license with current registration

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a Skilled Nursing Facility

• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, policies, and regulations

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
