Sr Marketing Manager, Consumer Banking

Financial Services is the largest, most proximate adjacent opportunity and presents a unique opportunity to leverage our Un-carrier brand equities to create a disruptive and strategically vital reinvention of banking through a combination of expanded access, market-leading mobile-first functionality and unmatched value.As a key member of the Emerging Businesses team within the Corporate Strategy organization, the Senior Marketing Manager, Consumer Banking, will assist in developing the strategy and vision for our banking business and develop and execute all marketing communications, go-to-market, channel activation GTM programs to fulfill that vision. Requires competency in marketing strategy, analytics, identifying trends & insights from customer & competitive research, retail, change & innovation, relationship building & influencing, and cross-functional leadership.You will be able to excel in a matrixed organization, rallying and guiding internal and external support for your products and vision. You will be innately customer focused, able to balance competing trade-offs between customer experience and development and operational complexity. Most importantly, you believe traditional banking is a broken industry ripe for mobile-first, Un-Carrier disruption.At least 18 years of ageLegally authorized to work in the United StatesHigh School Diploma or GEDT-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work. Strong understanding of voice and data services and products• Ability to lead planning cycle in fast paced and highly competitive industry with collaborative approach• Strong communications skills by presentation, written and verbal methods• Experience in defining and executing go-to-market strategies.• Experience taking concept to launch.• Experience in consumer financial services preferred.• Unusually strong commercial judgement and maturity. MBA preferred.• Accountable for acquisition strategy, planning and GTM for the T-Mobile MONEY LOB• Develops and oversees business forecasting, tracking and gap planning where applicable• Requires extensive planning including analysis of customer insight and business performance, development of promotional offers and brand value proposition, operational feasibility and performance optimization in quarter. • Partnering with internal teams and external agencies, to assist in development of category and product brand(s), product positioning, messaging and visual/brand identity and all demand gen activities owned and paid• Assist in development and execution of activation programs across retail, D2C, and digital channels. • The role requires strong cross functional partnership across the enterprise to ensure flawless execution of offers in market and performance management. Partners with cross-functional teams including operations, supply chain, finance, all consumer segments, messaging, product management, retail, PR, media brand, compliance, analytics, consumer insights, pricing and legal and more to develop and execute quarterly plan. • Coordination and partnership with third party bank partner to facilitate all demand gen activities.• Responsible for identifying opportunities based on competitive landscape, business performance, campaign optimization and customer pain points.
