What You Will Do:

• Assist in the MRI radiology department, primarily working with GE HDXT systems (16.0 and 23.0)
• Support the team in patient preparation and care, ensuring smooth and efficient imaging procedures
• Collaborate closely with MRI Techs and fellow aides, maintaining safety and quality standards
• Work approximately 9 patients per shift in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
• Be available for call coverage after midnight, with scheduled days off and approved time off requests

Required Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care procedures
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare setting
• Reliable with good organizational skills
• Prior experience in a clinical or radiology setting is a plus

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous experience working with MRI equipment or radiology departments
• Knowledge of hospital protocols and patient safety standards
• Certification in patient care or radiology assistant programs
• Bilingual abilities to better serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a healthcare support role preferred but not required
• Prior experience working nights or in a hospital environment is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Reside within 50 miles of Pittsfield, MA, or be willing to commute
• Ability to commit to night shifts and flexible scheduling
• Professionalism, dependability, and a compassionate approach to patient care
• Must have reliable voicemail set up and be reachable
• Willingness to undergo orientation and adhere to all safety and operational protocols
