- Administering thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and crafting personalized treatment strategies
- Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues in collaboration with physicians or independently as authorized
- Providing education to patients and families on lifestyle, wellness, and ongoing health management
- Prescribing medications and therapeutic interventions in line with your practice scope
- Engaging in follow-up care and managing chronic conditions
- Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, patient-centered services
- Documenting all patient interactions meticulously within electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or relevant equivalents
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
