Send an email to Accessibility (accommodation requests only; other inquiries won't receive a response).Regular or Temporary:RegularLanguage Fluency: English (Required)Work Shift:1st shift (United States of America)Please review the following job description:We are seeking a Director of Business Data Products & Enablement (BDPE) to lead the development and delivery of scalable, product-based data solutions across Deposits and Lending within Consumer & Small Business Banking (CSBB).This role is accountable for defining and executing a product-driven data strategy, transforming fragmented reporting and analytics into standardized, governed, and reusable data products that drive measurable business value.The Director will act as a bridge between business and technology, ensuring that data products are aligned to business priorities, built with high quality and governance, and adopted effectively to enable faster, more consistent decision-making.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFollowing is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Manage significant advanced analytics projects which involve broad latitude and judgment regarding the management of assigned projects including scoping, approach design, assignment of tasks, and accountability for deliverables. 2. Lead a team of Data and Analytics professionals. Provide coaching and guidance to team members, understanding their strengths, weaknesses and goals to support the appropriate opportunities for career development and enhancement. Provide performance evaluations in accordance with Truist guidelines. Work with teammates to establish development plans and provide regular coaching and feedback to members of the team.3. Responsible for talent acquisition, coaching and organization of data science professionals possessing highly technical skills, an understanding of business processes, natural curiosity and a drive to excellence in pursuit of business optimization and impact.4. Foster communication and partnership across all levels of the organization including engagement with Senior Leadership and C-Suite, Truist Executive Leadership Team. Responsible for stewarding relationships, delivering on promises and building trust with partners while delivering on LOB and company goals.5. Pursue business outcomes valued through increased revenue and/or efficiency leveraging data-driven insights powered by advanced analytics in support of enhanced decision-making. Focus on continuous improvement in delivering data science driven insights and outcomes in pursuit of business optimization.6. Provides strategic direction in data collection, data wrangling, data mining, advanced analytic concepts, AI & machine learning, self-service enablement and data visualization for the line of business partners.7. Drive overall team standards in order to create an inclusive and energizing environment that empowers teammates to learn, grow and have meaningful careers.8. Represent the team in various forums, work streams, and Executive reviews. Cultivate relationships with Senior Leaders from the Enterprise Data Office and federated analytics teams to drive efficient data science & predictive analytics delivery against shared objectives.9. Exercise sound judgment, risk management, and foster a client centric culture throughout design, development, and deployment practices.QUALIFICATIONSRequired Qualifications:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training or experience, and 15 or more years of experience in Banking, Finance, Decision/Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or Engineering2. 10 or more years of progressive data science or analytics management experience with a diverse project focus and demonstrated results.3. Must be a people leader, able to manage in a cross-functional and collaborative team environment focused on supporting business partners with enhanced insights.4. Demonstrated ability to engage and manage a diverse set of internal business partners, product sets, and projects, connecting insights with execution and business impact.5. Innovative and strategic thinker with ability to connect to practical application, providing leadership on target initiatives, with a strong bias to action and focus on quantifiable business impact.6. Experience in managing multiple projects with tight deadlines in a collaborative environment, with ability to pivot and align resources to drive maximum impact.7. Ability to maintain a high level of competency in statistical and analytical principles, tools, and techniques. Champion application of emerging decision science techniques by supporting teammate training and development and building business partner awareness.8. Incumbent should have an understanding of various database environments (IBM DB2, Oracle), technical programming skills (SAS, SQL, Toad), exposure to applied data science tools (R, Python, SAS E-Miner), familiarity with data visualization and BI tools (Tableau, MicroStrategy), and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Preferred Qualifications:1. Experience with modern data platforms (e.g., cloud, Snowflake, BI tools)2. Prior working experience with data governance frameworks, and risk controls3. Experience in AI/advanced analytics enablement for Agentic and traditional applications4. Experience in data, analytics, product management, or BI delivery in Consumer Banking 5.
