This summer position spans from July 6, 2026, through August 14, 2026, and focuses on providing dedicated care for a multi-disabled classroom. The Program Nurse will play a critical role, ensuring the health and well-being of students throughout the Bath area's summer educational programs.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active New York State RN or LPN license
• Previous experience in school nursing or working with children with multiple disabilities is highly valued
• Competency to administer medication, perform nebulizer treatments, and manage tube feedings confidently
• Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to communicate efficiently with students, staff, and caregivers
• Reliable, compassionate, and comfortable working in collaborative educational settings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and attentive nursing care to students, including medication administration and specialized health interventions
• Document health services provided, adhering to regulatory and school-based policies
• Promote health education and preventive practices within the classroom
• Respond swiftly to emergencies, providing immediate care and appropriate follow-up
• Maintain confidentiality and foster a supportive, respectful environment
