Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, including service requests related to appliances, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, gates, pools, and other community equipment.
• Complete preventive maintenance inspections and respond to after-hours emergency maintenance calls as needed.
• Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents by ensuring units are move-in ready and meet community standards.
• Maintain amenity areas, common spaces, and property equipment in a clean, safe, and fully operational condition.
• Deliver exceptional resident service through professional communication, timely resolution of maintenance concerns, and adherence to company appearance standards.
• Support resident events and foster a positive living experience for community members.
• Maintain an organized maintenance shop, monitor inventory levels, and accurately document completed work and service requests.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager with daily operations, coordinate effectively with vendors and contractors, and ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of apartment or residential maintenance experience with strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and EPA Refrigerant Certification (Type II or Universal), or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, including repairs and upgrades to apartment homes, building systems, and community amenities.
• Capable of safely using hand tools, testing equipment, and maintenance machinery while meeting all safety standards.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, and moving heavy appliances, equipment, and materials throughout the property.
