Vinsetta Garage PositionThe oldest garage east of the Mississippi was born to serve one purpose but is now preserved to serve another. While the service provided inside the walls of this Woodward Avenue landmark has changed, the foundation of quality craftsmanship laid by the Kurta and Marwil families remains that same; finetuned and authentic. With burgers, Union Mac & Cheese, tacos, coal-fired pies and the like, the new crew is working to keep the legend of Vinsetta Garage alive. This role serves to expedite the restaurant floor and seat guests in a timely manner.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesRemoves all dishes and other items from table following the mealCleans and prepares table for new guests in accordance to the Joint's standardsPerforms cleaning side work as assignedCompletes all service paperwork as requiredSupports waiters and kitchen staff in other duties as requiredPerforms other work-related duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items (dishes, tubs, etc.)Previous restaurant experience strongly preferredHigh energy and stamina are requiredAbility to stay calm and work efficiently under pressureAbility to prioritize job duties and manage time effectivelyStrong verbal communication skills requiredWillingness to work evenings and weekends as requiredExcellent customer service to treat patrons like familyAbility to read menus, safety documents, and other work-related documentsPhysical Demands And Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
