Essential Job Functions CNC machine tool, robot, washer, gage/CMM, marker, etc automation equipment interfacing Electrical wiring, troubleshooting and various automation peripherals setup Program PLC/HMI (Allen–Bradley preferred), robot (Fanuc) and vision (iRvision or Cognex) Perform automation cell runoff at factory and customer site Prepare detailed design specifications and documentation Customer training and technical support Other duties assigned as necessary Bachelor or equivalent degree in EE/ME/CS Engineering Familiar with manufacturing automation/industrial robotic system Strong electrical design, wiring and troubleshooting capabilities Proficient in PLC/HMI/Robot/Vision programming Proficient in mechanical assembly and electrical troubleshooting Familiar with major industrial protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Profinet, etc.) Familiar with safety circuit and safety relay/controller configuration Ability to learn various new automation technology Strong communication skills including reading & writing technical documents General office environment will be experienced. Occasionally the position will be spent in various manufacturing environments.
