Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Monitoring in Detroit, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet tools as needed. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and property concerns. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel. Monitor access to assigned areas, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations. Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, and security-related observations. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
