Associate Scientist
Eurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
Associate Scientist position performing analytical chemistry work including chromatographic analysis, sample preparation, and data documentation in a laboratory setting. The role involves investigation of test substances using diverse analytical methods and instrumentation in a CRO environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct analytical investigations using chromatographic techniques and diverse laboratory methods
- Perform sample extraction, preparation, and cleanup including SPE and QuEChERS techniques
- Execute analytical calculations for standard preparations, linear regression, and residue determinations
- Document work in laboratory notebooks and maintain raw data organization per SOP and GLP guidelines
- Contribute to data summaries and draft report preparation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or related field with three years relevant laboratory experience
- Master's degree in relevant field may substitute for bachelor's degree and experience requirement
- Laboratory experience required; analytical chemistry under GLP regulations preferred
- Proficiency with LC-UV, LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, and GC-MS/MS instrumentation
- Experience with agrochemical residue chemistry in CRO environment preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills with attention to detail
- Authorization to work in United States indefinitely without sponsorship
