Job Type: Contract
Max Pay Rate: $62/hr
Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days onsite | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Digital Product Owner / Senior Business Analyst to support a strategic merchant services digital application initiative. This role will act as both a product owner and senior business analyst, partnering closely with product, technology, operations, risk, and sales teams to support the design, delivery, and readiness of a customer-facing digital application.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in digital product delivery, business analysis, application workflows, stakeholder management, and Agile execution within enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support execution of a strategic merchant services digital application initiative
- Partner with product owners, technology teams, and business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
- Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder discussions
- Translate business needs into user stories, features, and acceptance criteria
- Support solution design discussions related to APIs, integrations, backend systems, and digital workflows
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog refinement
- Identify UAT use cases and support business readiness activities
- Collaborate with communication and training teams to support operational readiness
- Build presentations and reporting materials to communicate initiative progress to leadership
- Balance customer experience, compliance requirements, and technical feasibility
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in: product management, business analysis, digital product delivery, enterprise application initiatives
- Strong experience with: requirements gathering and analysis, user story development, process analysis and workflow mapping, stakeholder management, Agile/Scrum environments
- Understanding of: APIs and system integrations, digital application flows, UX/UI and customer journey concepts, risk and compliance processes (KYC, AML, governance)
- Experience with: Jira, Confluence, analytics/reporting tools
- Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in: merchant services, financial services, digital onboarding or application platforms
- Exposure to: product roadmap planning, KPI tracking and funnel optimization, Agile product ownership, AI or Copilot-enabled workflows
