Network Technician

Join to apply for the Network Technician role at Indigo Key Responsibilities Install duplex fibre from reels and perform fusion splicing to trunk fibres as per EDP specifications. Splice fibres from A-side trunk to B-side trunk within the Optical Distribution Frame (ODF) lineup, using blunt-end duplex fibre reels provided by the customer. Conduct fibre path testing using Visual Fault Locator (VFL) and Optical Time‑Domain Reflectometer (OTDR). Use VFL to confirm connectivity between Multi‑Fibre Push On (MPO) connectors matches the port map. Use OTDR to qualify splices at 0.1 dB at 1550 nm. Requirements Proven experience in fibre optic installation and fusion splicing. Familiarity with MPO connectivity and ODF setups. Proficient in using VFL and OTDR for fibre testing and troubleshooting. Ability to interpret engineering design plans and work independently on‑site. Why Join Us?
