We are looking for a two (2) Registered Dental Hygienists to join a great practice that is growing in both Crozet & Charlottesville, VA. Our practice offers a wonderful office culture, work flexibility and attractive pay & benefits. Our hygienists enjoy working at the practice and have great relationships with patients and handle 1 column of hygiene. We have 3 other RDHs who have been there on average of 5 years.

Your average day:

• Review oral health history and conduct initial mouth screening
• Educating patients on proper teeth and gum care and the importance of diet on oral health
• Taking X-rays and developing dental impressions and radiographs of teeth
• Removing plaque, cleaning teeth, and helping to prevent gum disease
• Supporting the dentist on all aspects of dental care
• Collecting medical and dental histories from patients
• Applying preventive materials to the teeth such as sealants & fluoride

You have:

• An in-depth knowledge of medicine, dentistry, dental health, and safety regulations
• Experience as a dental hygienist
• CPR certification
• Knowledge of infection control guidelines set forth by CCHC/OHSA/ADA.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations

Job type: Full-time

Hours: 32-36 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday OR Monday to Thursday

License/certification:

• Virginia hygiene license
• Practice will help with licensing if moving from out of state
