Apply now Job no: 492325 Work type: Full-Time Location: Administration – Orangeburg, SC Categories: Faculty SC State University is seeking an Assistant Professor to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Speech‑Language Pathology; supervise student practicum; recruit and advise undergraduate and graduate students; supervise students in varied caseloads as defined by communicative disorder categories and age ranges; participate in scholarly activities and clinical supervision. Eligible candidates should have an interest in clinical practice, teaching, and research in one or more of the following areas: dysphagia, motor speech disorders, neurogenic communication disorders, augmentative and alternative communication, voice disorders, speech science, and child speech and language. Minimum Requirements for Entry into Position Three (3) years experience in diverse settings. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology. South Carolina Licensure eligible. Earned doctorate from a regionally accredited institution. Preferred Requirements for Entry into Position PhD / EdD in Speech‑Language Pathology. Preference given to individuals with university experience and/or a background in augmentative–alternative; child language disorders. Evidence of scholarly activity is highly desired.
