Nurse Practitioner

Full-Time Clinician PositionWe are seeking a full-time clinician to join our team in Flagstaff, AZ. You'll be supported by experienced clinical teams, strong peer relationships, clear practice guidelines, and accessible medical leadership who provide real-time guidance and mentorship.The work is engaging and varied, with a broad patient population and generally low-acuity presentations that keep skills sharp without the pressure of inpatient follow-up.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care settingManage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visitsOrder and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imagingPerform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management (as applicable)Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructionsDocument patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHRCode and bill services appropriatelyMaintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarksPractice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and valuesRequired QualificationsActive, unrestricted AZ license for NP | PABoard certification or eligibility, as applicable PA: NCCPA certificationNP: ANCC or AANP certification (FNP required)Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)Ability to treat patients of all agesActive BLS certificationEHR proficiencyWillingness to work occasional weekends and holidaysDOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered)Preferred QualificationsPrior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experienceStrong procedural skills (e.g., suturing, splinting, wound care)Experience with initial x-ray interpretation prior to radiology over-readAbout NextCare NextCare is one of the nation's largest urgent care providers, serving communities with accessible, affordable, high-quality care across 160+ locations in 11 states.
