Position Summary The Sales Support Specialist serves as the operational core of the Pro Tapes sales team, owning end‑to‑end sample fulfillment, driving data‑informed lead development, and partnering on cost and margin initiatives. This role bridges sales, marketing, and operations, translating customer intelligence and transactional data into actionable insights that improve targeting, conversion, and profitability. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Own the full sample request lifecycle for Pro Tapes’ products: intake, fulfillment, tracking, and follow‑up, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Maintain organized sample inventory and coordinate with production and warehouse teams. Track sample activity by customer, product, and region; report on sample‑to‑sale conversion to evaluate ROI. Systematically review inbound leads and CRM data to identify trends, buying patterns, and gaps in market coverage. Conduct data mining and analysis to surface actionable insights for targeted marketing campaigns and improved ROI. Prepare regular lead quality and pipeline reports for sales and marketing teams, highlighting high‑potential segments and underperforming channels. Collaborate with Marketing on e‑marketing campaign follow‑up and lead nurturing workflows. Partner with sales leadership to identify margin improvement opportunities. Support pricing change implementation and develop standardized pricing procedures. Monitor cost and margin data, flag anomalies, and elevate issues for leadership review. Maintain accurate CRM account records, manage leads and opportunities, and support quoting, NPDF, and case management workflows. Act as liaison between sales and production teams, ensuring efficient communication of customer needs. Handle scheduling, correspondence, and other administrative duties to keep the sales team focused on revenue‑generating activities. Qualifications Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities. Hands‑on experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite, especially Advanced Excel. Exceptional written and verbal communication, strong organization, and multitasking in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to coordinate across departments and communicate customer needs clearly. Strong troubleshooting and issue escalation skills. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing is preferred. Physical Demands Lifting 25+ lbs. Sitting at desk for extended periods.
