The Opportunity

We are seeking an Accounting Associate to support the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the members we serve. Working closely with senior professionals of our multi-member team, this is a hands-on role with meaningful responsibility, exposure to a range of assets and entities, and opportunities to improve how we work.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank, brokerage, and credit card accounts across individuals, trusts, LLCs, and partnerships; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain general ledgers, prepare journal entries and accruals, and support monthly and year-end closes and financial reporting.
• Track investment activity, including purchases and sales, cost basis, income, realized and unrealized gains and losses, capital calls, and distributions.
• Support accounts payable, bill payments, cash monitoring, and related recordkeeping for client households and entities.
• Prepare accurate supporting schedules and coordinate documentation with external accountants, tax advisors, and other service providers.
• Maintain organized, confidential records and help strengthen accounting processes, controls, and technology-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience. CPA designation preferred but not required.
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems; QuickBooks experience is helpful.
• Excellent attention to detail, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting, investment accounting, or platforms such as Addepar is a plus.
