Role: Mortgage Servicing Business Analyst – Sales & Acquisitions

Location: 800 S Jordan Creek Parkway, West Des Moines, IA

Duration: 12 Months (Extension will be evaluated closer to the end date)

Work Schedule: Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote (Flexible)

Interview Process: 1 Round – 30-Minute Teams Video Panel Interview

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Servicing Business Analyst to support Home Lending operations, with a primary focus on mortgage servicing sales, acquisitions, loan transfers, data analysis, and process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have strong mortgage servicing domain knowledge, hands-on experience with MSP (Mortgage Servicing Platform), and advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.

This role involves analyzing mortgage servicing data, supporting loan transfer activities, resolving data discrepancies, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and implementing operational process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support mortgage servicing sales, acquisitions, and loan transfer activities within Home Lending.
\n
• Analyze, compare, validate, and reconcile mortgage servicing data using MSP and advanced Excel.
\n
• Assist with implementing process changes related to loan transfers and servicing acquisitions.
\n
• Work with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and counterparties to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
\n
• Perform data mapping, formatting, translation, conversion, and validation to support servicing transfer processes.
\n
• Analyze MSP data to identify inconsistencies, operational gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
\n
• Support project management activities, including planning, coordination, tracking deliverables, and implementing business initiatives.
\n
• Investigate and resolve escalated operational issues through detailed analysis and collaboration.
\n
• Develop and maintain process documentation, training materials, and operational procedures.
\n
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data transfers and successful implementation of process changes.
\n
• Support business initiatives by identifying operational risks, recommending solutions, and improving workflow efficiency.
\n
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and ensure timely resolution of outstanding issues.
\n

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in Mortgage Servicing , particularly within Home Lending operations.
\n
• Knowledge of mortgage servicing sales, acquisitions, and loan transfer processes.
\n
• Working knowledge of MSP (Mortgage Servicing Platform) and mortgage servicing data.
\n
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables .
\n
• Experience with data analysis, comparison, reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution.
\n
• Understanding of data structures, formatting, mapping, translation, and conversion.
\n
• Experience coordinating projects, implementing process changes, and supporting operational initiatives.
\n
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and counterparties.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
