Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including detailed medical histories and physical assessments
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions through careful interpretation of imaging and lab results

• Provide vital intraoperative assistance by preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and adeptly handling surgical instruments during procedures
• Offer high-quality pre- and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wounds, planning discharges, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Preference for candidates who have completed clinical rotations with a focus on surgery

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
