Job Duties

• Process and coordinate domestic and international shipments.
• Schedule freight pickups with carriers and freight forwarders.
• Package and ship raw materials and finished goods safely and efficiently.
• Create shipping documentation, including airway bills , export declarations, and shipping instructions.
• Utilize shipping software such as UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, DHL EasyShip, and Automated Export System (AES).
• Provide shipment tracking and status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Operate barcode scanners, shipping systems, and Pitney Bowes mailing equipment.
• Maintain shipping accuracy, inventory integrity, and workplace safety standards.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.

Experience Requirements

• 2+ years of shipping, logistics, warehouse, or distribution experience preferred.
• Experience with domestic and international freight shipping.
• Knowledge of U.S. export regulations and shipping compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with shipping software, databases, and export documentation.
• Hazardous materials shipping experience (including lithium-ion batteries) is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a fast-paced team environment.

What You Will Do


As a Shipping Associate you will receive incoming shipments, inspect materials, prepare outbound orders, verify inventory, organize warehouse stock, complete shipping and receiving documentation, and help maintain accurate inventory records. You will safely move products throughout the warehouse while supporting efficient shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment operations.

The Shipping Associate helps maintain organized warehouse operations by coordinating shipping, receiving, inventory, and material movement activities. This role requires careful attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
