ES Housekeeper

CBRE, GDS Hospital ES HousekeeperAs a CBRE, GDS Hospital ES Housekeeper you will be responsible for basic cleaning duties. This includes cleaning patient rooms, mopping, sweeping, replenishing supplies and trash disposal. You will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of your assigned areas.Primary Job Functions:Clean and disinfect patient rooms, beds, examination tables, restrooms, offices and other common areas within the hospital environment to established standards.Clean and stock public bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.Cleans and disposes of regular trash, RMW (Regulated Medical Waste) and recycle materials.Collects and removes soiled linen into appropriate bin(s).Performs terminal cleaning of patient rooms and special procedure rooms in accordance with standard procedures.Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.Dust furniture, walls, and equipment which includes moving and rearranging furniture.Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.Ensure that cleaning supplies are in a safe, secure area at all times.Complete standardized cleaning process as per company standards.Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.Attend all regular staff meetings and required in-service training sessions.Follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.Reports any conditions requiring maintenance attention or repair to immediate supervisor.Performs other duties as assigned.Education, Experience and Certification:High School Diploma or equivalent2 years of job-related experienceWorking Conditions:Occasional exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, etc.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and moving furniture.Ability to follow basic work routines.Ability to communicate.Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.Ability to efficiently complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.Reliable and responsible, can work independently or as part of a team.Disclaimer:CBRE Government and Defense is thrilled at the opportunity for you to apply to one of our roles.
