Position - Die Cutter Job Location - Appleton, WI Starting Date - ASAP Employment Term - Temp-to-Hire Employment Type - Full-Time Work Hours (Shift) - 1st Shift (8:00am - 4:30pm) Starting Pay - $20/hour Benefits - Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus Required Education - High School Diploma/GED Required Experience - At least 2 years of experience As a Die Cutter / Tool & Die Maker, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and fitting high-quality dies, molds, and tooling components. You will read engineering blueprints and operate standard precision machinery-including lathes, grinders, and CNC equipment-to fabricate and inspect finished tools. Additionally, you will play a critical role in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining existing tooling to ensure optimal production efficiency. Responsibilities -Operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC/EDM equipment. -Inspect finished tools and dies using precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers. -Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance to eliminate tooling downtime and improve performance. Qualifications -Proficiency with precision measuring tools and standard shop equipment. -Minimum of 2 years of experience in tool and die making, precise machining, or industrial manufacturing. -Physical ability to stand for extended periods, maintain strong manual dexterity, and lift heavy tooling components.
