PeopleSoft Finance Functional Principal Consultant

Role Description

Infosys is seeking a PeopleSoft Finance Functional Consultant with strong expertise in PeopleSoft Government Contracting, Project Billing, and Time and Labor modules. The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Addressing user issues and resolving system-related problems
• Managing tickets and service requests
• Performing necessary configuration updates
• Collaborating closely with customer process consultants and subject matter experts (SMEs)
• Conducting root cause analysis when necessary
• Driving continuous process improvements
• Serving as an effective liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
• Ensuring successful delivery of enhancements and timely resolution of complex issues
• Optimizing system performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution
• Will consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 11 years of Information Technology experience
• Demonstrated experience with PeopleSoft Government contracting, Project Billing, Time and Labor functional experience
• Experience in PeopleSoft Project Costing (PC), Project Billing (BI), and Contracts (CA)
• Experience in Government Contracting requirements, including Cost accumulation and allocation, Billing plans (rate-based, fixed-price, T&M, and Progress Payments), Revenue recognition
• Experience in Time & Labor (T&L) including Time reporting, rules engine, payable time, Integration with Project Costing and Payroll
• Understanding of grants/government compliance requirements
• Experience in issue resolution, root cause identification and analysis, recommend solution to complex issues
• Good working knowledge of PeopleTools, SQL and other tools
• Experience gathering business requirements, proposing process improvements, stakeholder management, preparing Functional design and documentation

• This position may require relocation and/or travel to client/project location
• In order to comply with legal requirements, this role is limited to "U.S. persons" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15

Preferred Qualifications

• Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and support processes
• Strong knowledge of business processes across finance domains
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience and desire to work closely with customers
• Participate in the on-call rotation to support production systems, including monitoring jobs, interfaces, and integrations
• Experience in collaborative, cross-functional team environments

Compensation

Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:

• In CA / CO / D.C. / IL / MA / MD / MN / NJ / NY / VT / WA: $114,000 to $167,000
• In Washington, DC: $106,000 to $147,500
