At Nekoosa, our manufacturing operations typically run Monday-Friday, which means weekends are generally reserved for maintenance activities, projects, and occasional on-call facility support. During major maintenance projects or shutdowns, overtime opportunities may be available.

2nd Shift Maintenance position, 2 pm to 10 pm M_F

OR

3rd Shift Maintenance position, 10 pm - 6 am M-F.

Your Impact

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in keeping our production equipment safe, reliable, and efficient.

You'll help us:

• Drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement with a goal of zero incidents
• Improve equipment reliability and preventive maintenance performance
• Reduce downtime through fast, effective troubleshooting and repairs
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, SOPs, and 5S practices
• Support maintenance projects and continuous improvement initiatives

What You'll Be Doing

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot automated production equipment using electro-mechanical skills.
• Diagnose and repair PLCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), pumps, motors, sensors, and power distribution systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
• Read electrical schematics, manuals, and technical drawings to identify and resolve issues.
• Document maintenance work accurately in the CMMS system.
• Support shutdowns, maintenance projects, and reliability improvements.

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Maintenance certification, technical coursework, or equivalent training.
• Knowledge of electronic control systems, PLCs, motors, drives, and industrial electrical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
