Inventory Specialist

Position The Inventory Specialist is responsible for the inventory of all vehicles at the facility within company timelines. Using company-provided tools, the Inventory Specialist documents vehicle condition to company standards, including a complete inventory and supporting photographs of each vehicle. By applying a system of priorities, the Inventory Specialist directs the flow of traffic in the receiving area to ensure timely processing of vehicle inventory. With a thorough understanding of Copart policy, the Inventory Specialist facilitates the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customer needs. Responsibilities Monitor, maintain, and organize the receiving area. Operate camera and utilize a handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles. Determine operational capability of motor vehicles. Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles. Maintain inventory of all materials used. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.
