Inventory Control Supervisor

Key Responsibilities Complies with and promotes all GMP's Executes and promotes safe work practices at all times Conducts Cycle Count inventory processes to ensure accuracy and timely execution Oversees and evaluates stock rotation procedures (FIFO) Trains staff in product dating and creates procedures to eliminate loss Notifies leadership of shortages or other problems that could impact product availability Receives inbound product Ships outbound product Audits inbound and outbound movements for accuracy Performs other duties as assigned Skills and Requirements Basic math skills required (counting, multiplication, conversions, fractions) Practical experience with ERP software; SAP experience a plus Understanding of basic warehouse operations Understanding of perishable food stocking Understanding of Just‑In‑Time inventory strategies Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel Excellent communication skills Excellent organization skills and the ability to multi‑task Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills required Ability to tolerate short periods of exposure to freezer temperatures Experience / Education Completion of High School or GED Minimum 2 years experience in inventory & receiving; management experience preferred. Internal applicants with less experience and demonstrated leadership are encouraged to apply and will be considered. Experience working in a Just‑In‑Time (JIT) and/or perishable food manufacturing and/or warehousing environment applying common processes, procedures, and/or equipment preferred. Experience managing just‑in‑time and/or perishable food inventory preferred. Experience with GMP practices preferred.
