This rewarding contract position runs from August 19th to June 3rd, with working hours from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM. There are two openings available: one at the middle school level and another at the high school level, providing the chance to make a significant impact and work with students at a critical stage in their educational journey.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching Certification (SPED)
• Current Pennsylvania state clearances
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs in either middle or high school settings
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Collaborative spirit and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Passion for creating adaptive, engaging lesson plans and fostering student growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with varying needs
• Provide differentiated instruction and support within the classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and fellow staff members
• Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
• Adapt teaching approaches to engage and inspire learners
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
