Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery

Job Overview Foundation Health Partners is looking for Registered Nurses to join the Labor & Delivery team at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. Pay & Benefits Hourly wage: $38.42-$63.35 based on experience and education Retention bonus: up to $25,000 DOE Relocation assistance: up to $7,500 Temporary housing for 90 days Shift differential, annual increases, paid time off Medical, vision, dental, 401(k) with employer match Tuition assistance, student loan forgiveness Onsite gym, wellness programs, discount programs Shift availability: Full Time, Nights, 36hr/wk, 12hr shifts Job Responsibilities Assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs. Formulates a care plan including discharge plan, collaborates with multidisciplinary team. Implements the plan, coordinates care, delegates and supervises nursing staff, ensures continuity of care. Evaluates patient and family response to care and teaching, revises plan as needed. Documents assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the patient record. Participates in evidence‑based practice, research activities, unit/shared leadership, and education of staff and families. May supervise staff and workflow of department in some roles. Call required. Qualifications Valid current or temporary Alaska RN license. Associate’s degree in nursing or equivalent. BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS or additional certification may be required. Creative thinking, prioritizing, flexible problem solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred. Professional certification preferred. Experience working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as an RN in the specialty area. Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
