The Business Development Manager - Commercial Segment isahighperforming contributorthat worksto developand implement growth opportunities with new customers. This rolewill solve customer needs and leverage data to capitalize on business trends and opportunities to drive sales growth.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:

Engage and convertcustomeropportunities into active accounts.

Develop sales strategy for assigned territory to meet sales goalsby closely following market trends.

Actively seek new customers through weekly sales calls,including servicing existing customers and presenting company products to new customers.

Developnew accountconversion processesand transition plans to ensure successful transition toother fieldsales teams.

Utilize thorough understanding oftheCompanys products and initiatives, including sustainability, to deliver customer value and gain sales.

Manage pricing, product, logistics, and execution on all projects within the assigned territory.

Coordinate closely with other field sales representatives to drive sales.

May be required to become an active member intrade organizations and networking within assigned markets.

Make process and business decisions based on understanding of companyandcustomeras well asindustry practices, standards, and trends.

Perform other duties as needed.

Required Experience and Education:

Bachelors degree in a related fieldor equivalent education and/or experience.

4-6 years relevant experienceor equivalent education and/or experience.

Competencies:

Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline.

Excellent presentation skills.

Excellent negotiation skills.

Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.

Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.

Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.

Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.

High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.

Other Pertinnent Job Information:

Travel is expected50% to 60% of the time.

The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
