Perform or supervise preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment. Facility Operations Ensure all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces, are in excellent condition. Maintain compliance with brand standards for property upkeep and appearance. Safety and Compliance Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including fire safety and building codes. Perform regular safety inspections and maintain records of certifications and inspections. Monitor and manage energy consumption to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Implement energy‑saving initiatives and sustainable practices. Collaboration with Other Departments Work closely with housekeeping, front desk, and food & beverage teams to address maintenance needs promptly and support guest satisfaction. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. In‑depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, as well as elevators and fire safety equipment. Skills in developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules for long‑term efficiency. Ability to diagnose and repair issues promptly across a variety of hotel systems. Understanding of energy‑efficient practices and systems to reduce costs and improve sustainability. Certifications such as HVAC Technician, electrician license, or OSHA safety training are preferred. Awareness of how maintenance activities can impact guests and taking measures to minimize disruptions. Applicants should have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
